Adoption Home Study Resources (AHSR) is an alliance of social workers that provides home studiesand postplacement services to Florida residents planning an adoption. We are licensed and insured and collectively have over eight decades of experience. Our goal is to simplifiy, assist and enhance your adoption process by helping make the home study a postive part of your joyful experience.

Cathy has worked with both biological and adoptive parents for many years. A Florida native, she has a deep concern for the children of this state. Her 25 years in Social Work provide a strong clinical foundation for her work with adoptive parents and children. She has a Masters degree in Social Work from Florida State University and a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Rollins College. She is married, has two adult sons and a beautiful granddaughter.

Cynthia has been a social worker since receiving her MSW from Florida State University in 1976. Her professional experience includes psychiatric social work, a private counseling practice, medical social work and hospital administration. She has been licensed in Florida as an LCSW since 1984. She has been working with families who are adopting children both domestically and internationally since 1993. Her work assisting families with their adoption home study and the postplacement visits has been professionally satisfying and personally rewarding.

Jamie Zachary, LCSW, has several years of experience working with individuals and couples who plan to expand their families through adoption, both international and domestic. Spending time with families to provide home studies and postplacement services has become a true joy and passion for her. She particularly enjoys getting to know families,spending time together in a relaxed and casual manner. She graduated from Florida State University with a master's degree in social work and from Central Michigan University with a master of science degree in administration. She has been licensed in Florida since 1987.
